This season, we are hearing a rising concern regarding ticks.

Some reports say there is an increase in ticks and tick bites, as well as the illnesses they spread. At home, I've seen two ticks on my dog already, the first one as early as March. I'm not here to fear monger - go outside, get sunlight and exercise, but be sure do a thorough "tick -check" afterwards.

In the eventuality that you, a loved one or a pet gets a tick bite, there are some simple first aid steps you can take to lessen the risk of tickbourne illnesses.

Homeopathy offers good first line support as well as chronic care for those effected, so be sure to reach out to your homeopath if you suspect you've been bitten.
